    About Us

    The mission of The Independent Living Center is to increase the independence of people with disabilities.

    TILC provides services to people with disabilities and chronic health problems to increase their independence. We are a non-residential agency promoting community involvement, advocacy, peer support, and independent living. Services include attendant care, home modifications, advocacy, information/referral, IL skills, adaptive equipment, transportation, youth services, institution transition, among others.

    Meetings held monthly in our office are as follows:
    •Consumer Advocacy Group, meets on the third Tuesday of every month from 10:00-12:00
    •Brain Injury Support Group, meets on the second Tuesday of every month from 1:00-2:30
    •Women's Social Club, meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 1:00 pm
