    SUMMARY
    Responsible for providing support in the daily operation, processing, and balancing of transactions and data.  Perform various tasks and activities in the assistance or absence of staff in the areas of electronic banking, item processing, Exception Item Module processing (EIM) and debit card processing. Incumbent will have knowledge of these areas in order to perform tasks independently.
     
    Typical Schedule:
    Monday - Friday            8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    Every 8th Saturday*      9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
    *Scheduled off 1/2 day during the week when working on Saturday

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    Perform the established procedures for the following functions:
    • Perform virtual vault coordinator functions:
        o Responsible for coordinating cash deliveries and pick ups between Loomis and the bank.
        o Responsible for daily balancing of the virtual vault.
    • Maintain confidentiality of customer account information
    • Provide assistance and support for the following functions:
        o Cross-train to perform Customer Service Representative functions
        o Merchant and teller/branch capture data and resolve issues.
        o Print and distribute core system reports and notices
        o Charge off deposit account reconciliation, processing and credit reporting.
        o Return item and check adjustment research/processing.
        o Maintain online banking information for retail and business customers, including initial business online     customer set-up, bill pay and person to person payment issues.
        o Respond to incoming customer emails and research issues. 
        o Daily exception item processing and returns
        o Debit card processing functions
        o Cooperation and interpersonal skills
    • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
     
     
    NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
    • Cross-train to perform Call Center Representative functions.
    • Special projects as assigned.
     
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 
    There are no supervisory responsibilities in this position.
     
    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus additional bank-related training; a minimum of two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
     
    LANGUAGE SKILLS 
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the organization.
     
    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
     
    REASONING ABILITY 
    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
     
    OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES 
    Must be able to operate the following equipment:  telephone, 10-key calculator, personal computer and printer, copy machine, step stool and/or ladder, multi-drawer file cabinet and fax machine.  Advance PC required.
     
    Must have working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database software programs.
     
    KEY CONTACTS—Internal and External:
    Has contact with Bank personnel regarding customer and/or teller transaction errors. Has contact with Teller and merchant capture business customers regarding the processing of daily work. Has contact with departments regarding reports, procedures, and hardware or software problems. Has contact with customers regarding transaction and errors. Support personnel, hardware field engineers, and supply vendors.

    Position may require occasional overnight travel to attend various training seminars.  Position also requires the ability to work before or after normal business hours.
