?? Job Opening: Library Media Specialist
Location: Neosho Newton County Library

Position Type: Part-Time (Potential to Grow)
Are you creative, tech-savvy, and passionate about community engagement? The Neosho Newton County Library is seeking a Library Media Specialist to lead the way in promoting our library's programs, events, and resources across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage promotional content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and other relevant platforms
Maintain and update the library’s website using WordPress
Design eye-catching flyers, posters, and digital materials for library events and services
Collaborate with staff to understand goals and develop creative marketing strategies
Produce consistent and engaging messaging across all digital and print platforms
Track social media engagement and suggest improvements
Qualifications:
Proficiency in managing Facebook, Twitter/X, and Instagram for professional or business purposes
Experience managing and updating websites using WordPress
Strong graphic design skills (using tools like Canva, Adobe Express, or similar)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to take initiative while being a team player
Creative thinking and attention to detail
Position Details:
Minimum hours per week to start, with potential to expand based on performance and needs
Flexible schedule available
Opportunity to lead and grow the library’s public presence
Pay: negotiable
