Hawk Line Construction is a fast-growing company with a professional work environment that builds and repairs power lines for various electric companies locally and throughout the United States. Focusing on the central, southern, and eastern US states. Hawk also supports multiple electric companies with storm restoration, mainly throughout the summer and fall months.
Responsibilities:

• Being part of a traveling line construction team.
• Be willing to travel for several weeks at a time.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on trucks and line equipment.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Drive/test vehicles and equipment after repairs are made.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with job foreman optimal time for maintenance/repairs.
• Maintain documentation on all maintenance and repairs.

• Must have a valid CDL, class A.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical.
• Must have a degree and/or five years experience in truck/equipment repair.
• Must have diagnostic skills.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must be able to work full time.
• Must be able to work overtime when needed.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
