Newton County Disaster Recovery Center
A Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Recovery Center will open for three days in Newton County, Missouri starting Monday, August 19, 2019 to provide one-on-one assistance to Missourians affected by recent flooding and severe storms.
Disaster recovery specialists from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration will be on hand to provide information to homeowners, renters, and business owners on available services, explain assistance programs, and help survivors complete or check the status of their applications.
Missourians from any county may visit any disaster recovery center. Before visiting a disaster recovery center, residents may register online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or call 800-621-FEMA (3362). Specialists will be available at the disaster recovery center to assist individuals in completing their registration as well.
