Neosho’s 2025 May Day Mom Announced
Amy Kuhn has been selected as the 2025 “MAY DAY MOM”. Amy was nominated by her daughter Parker Holland, a 3rd grade student in Danielle Rowe’s class at George Washington Carver Elementary. After reading Parker’s essay, we have no doubt that Ms. Kuhn would benefit from a little pampering and we are so excited to honor her.
Parker wrote the following essay, which was chosen out of 336 entries by our special committee. Her essay was a wonderful tribute to her mom. Her mom’s strength doesn’t go unnoticed. Even in the face of unimaginable heartbreak, she continues to show up with love, grace, and courage—and Parker sees it. It’s clear that she is not only her hero, but a true example of what it means to be a remarkable mom!
“My Mom had a child die in 2020. So she is still struggling and she still tries her best. I love her so much. She takes such good care of me, like amazing! She is the greatest. She does her best. That is why she should be picked!”
Honorable Mention was awarded to:
