• Community Support Services to Host 3rd Annual Community Prom for Individuals With Developmental Disabilities on September 13

Joplin, MO - Community Support Services of Missouri (CSS) will host its 3^rd Annual Community Prom for individuals with developmental disabilities on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hope City Church in Joplin (1258 Jaguar Rd, Joplin, MO 64804). This event is free and open to the public.

This special evening will feature a red carpet, music, dancing, pizza, and fun. Formal prom attire is encouraged. Thank you to Schreiber Foods for being the Presenting Sponsor and ensuring this event is free for attendees. Please RSVP by September 5 at https://forms.gle/zeHycXPxPt8ESeiK7.

Community Support Services of Missouri has been making opportunities happen for individuals with developmental disabilities in our community since 1978. We offer a range of services to individuals and their families, including community-based services, residential placements, early childhood programs, targeted case management, and services for those with complex behavioral needs. We provide continuous support for individuals from birth through adulthood, ensuring that they receive the best care at every stage of their lives. We work daily to ensure those we serve are active members of their communities and strive for continued visibility and acceptance of those with disabilities. Our service area includes the following 10 counties: Barry, Barton, Cedar, Dade, Jasper, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, St. Clair, and Vernon.
