The Maintenance Technician performs general building maintenance and light repair work across all Neosho School District facilities. Duties include carpentry, painting, minor interior repairs, and basic fixture work such as unclogging drains or replacing faucets.
Essential Duties:
- Respond to assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform general carpentry, drywall patching, and minor interior repairs.
- Repair or replace ceiling tiles, floor tiles, doors, door hardware, and classroom furniture.
- Paint interior walls, doors, and trim as needed.
- Handle basic fixture repairs such as unclogging drains, toilets, and sinks, and replacing faucets or flush valve parts.
- Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks and document work
- Assist with setup and teardown for district events and summer projects.
- Follow all District safety policies and maintain tools, vehicles, and work areas in clean, safe condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
