    The Neosho School District is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the district's academic programs. This position provides high-level administrative support for the executive director and department. 
    (12 month position)
    Summary: 
    Under the direct supervision of the executive director of elementary education, this position provides high-level administrative support for the executive director and department.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Assisting with MAP Grade-Level, EOC, and ACCESS testing, including training and reporting.
    • Submit assessment data to PowerSchool; distribute Individual Student Reports, and generate exception reports.
    • Manage curriculum-related quotes, purchase orders, and budget tracking, including McKinney-Vento POs, Title I, and grant orders and tracking.
    • Support professional development by maintaining the PDC worksheet, issuing certificates, processing PD approvals and receipts, and attending meetings.
    • Plan meetings, secure travel arrangements, make deposits, and place office supply orders.
    • Maintain student supply lists, materials check-in, and Learning Center inventory/calendar.
    • Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide general office support.
    • Prepare and submit enrollment reports monthly.
    • Proof and submit board reports as needed.
    • Collect district student transfer requests.
    • Maintain required DESE documentation (User Manager).
    • Coordinate new student enrollment events and provide support to building administrative assistants.

    Qualifications
    Education - High School Graduate

    Previous Experience
    Experience in budgeting and financial management, with demonstrated experience using accounting software and productivity platforms such as Google and Microsoft Office. Must possess a strong working knowledge of spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting.
    Physical Demands
    While performing the duties of this position, an employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, use fingers, and controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, reach, bend, and lift and carry up to ten pounds. Close vision ability to look at a computer screen for long periods of time is required.
    Attendance
    Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
    Conditions and Environment
    The work environment is frequently chaotic with many students and staff members present and speaking simultaneously.
