The Law Store launches next-generation concept in access and delivery of legal services through big retail chain. Joplin, MO - (June 1, 2016) -- The Law Store™, a U.S. law firm focused on innovating new concepts for access and delivery of legal services, will launch their two initial stores on June 1st in Walmart stores in southwest Missouri. “Partnering with Walmart, the world’s largest retail chain, to evolve our vision for legal service delivery only made sense,” said Katrina Richards, Chief Public Relations Officer. “We have spent the last year dissecting both the traditional brick and mortar legal model and currently available online legal service models only to realize there is a gap.” The Law Store model unites on-site attorney guidance in a friendly location with state-of-the-art technology and affordability. The two new stores in Joplin and Neosho, Missouri, will feature accessible attorneys offering free first advice™ and menu board-style pricing. The custom technology platform allows clients to self-schedule online, manage documents, e-sign, pay online, and communicate with counsel – on their home computer or mobile device. “With The Law Store’s model, you can begin the process online and complete it with an attorney in-store. Or, you have the option of meeting your attorney while on a grocery run, then finishing the process at home online,” said Kurt Benecke, Chief Operating Officer. The Law Store will maintain business hours from 10am to 8pm on weekdays and 10am to 6pm on weekends. According to Ms. Richards, “We want to make it as convenient as possible for individuals and small businesses to see a lawyer. You should not have to miss work to get legal help.” The sites offer a variety of services for wills and estate planning, traffic tickets, family law, small businesses, personal injuries, elder law, real estate services, immigration, and bankruptcy. The Law Store plans to launch seven additional Missouri offices by December, with national expansion beginning with Arkansas, Oklahoma, Illinois, Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Delaware, Ohio, and Florida over the next eighteen months. “We wanted to transform the entire experience of how people receive legal services from something mysterious and intimidating to something accessible, affordable, and consistent from state to state.” said Benecke.
