Ronald McDonald House: Gift of Light, Gift of Love Christmas Tree Lighting
Threads of Gold
Please join us for our 17th annual Gift of Light, Gift of Love Christmas Tree Lighting. This year's theme, Threads of Gold, symbolizes the tapestry of giving, woven together by the golden threads of families, donors, volunteers, staff and the medical community.
Tree Display
Amanda Mitchell, who chairs this year's event, has created an elegant tree dressed in white, cream and gold, topped with large, white ostrich plumes. A life-size Santa will stand nearby, accompanied by white deer and sleigh filled with beautifully wrapped presents.
"I want people looking at the display to feel a sense of peacefulness and calm and to recognize the Threads of Gold that connect and bind all of us." - Amanda Mitchell

Students from Missouri Southern State University's music department will perform the evening's musical selections.
