Gift of Light, Gift of Love Christmas Tree Lighting and Decor Sale
Join Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States for the 18th Annual Gift of Light, Gift of Love Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Macy's Women and Men's Court in the Northpark Mall. This year's theme, "Once upon a Christmas," symbolizes the storybook nostalgia we have today for the past. Our holiday traditions are written in the stories of the RMHC charity's families, donors, volunteers, staff, and the medical community.
The 20-foot-tall tree will showcase ornaments, furniture, and decor which reflect a modern take on mid-1900 century times. You'll spot kiddie car, hula hoops, brightly wrapped presents, and even Santa Claus. During the tree lighting event, the display will come alive! Don't miss seeing a special family participate in their favorite holiday traditions, inside the display, around the tree.
There is an exciting program planned for the event involving live music from Missouri Southern State University's Madrigal Singers, past House guests sharing their stories, and a performance by Briley Performing Arts Company dancers!
Immediately following the event, there will be an ornament and holiday decor sale in the former Gymboree store location featuring items from past years' tree-lighting events.
Please join in celebrating 20+ years of service to the Joplin community and help us in our goal of Keeping Families Close!
