The Car Seat Basics Workshop will cover: 

- Understanding car seat options; Rear-Facing Convertible, 

        Convertible, High-back and Low Back Booster

- Belt Placement

- LATCH vs. Seat-belt: Pros and Cons

- Understanding what a Tether is

- Car Seat Add on’s: What is ok and not ok to use

 

Who is invited to the workshop? 

We encourage parents, grandparents, foster parents and anyone else that is in charge of any kid(s) in car seats to attend. Safety is our priority! Registration is required for preparation purposes. Registration can be done by calling 417-782-9899 Monday through Thursday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, or fill out the form on this page.

 

When are classes held? 

Our goal is to have at least one workshop a month.  During warmer months we will have two workshops offered.  One during the daytime and one during the evening. 

 

Where will classes be held? 

Classes will be held at our main location in Joplin, MO.
