You are invited to join the City of Neosho on Thursday, December 5, 2019 for an annual event that ushers in the Christmas Season! Big Spring Park and Downtown Neosho will be illuminated for the Christmas season!
Begin the evening at the Neosho/Newton County Library for holiday fun! Then follow the Caroling Students of Neosho Christian School to Big Spring Park for the Lighting Ceremony at 6:00 p.m.
Sound and a live stream of the event is provided by KNEO Radio.Mayor William P. Doubek will read Clement Clarke Moore's immortal poem "The Night Before Christmas" immediately afterward.
The Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce Citizens's of the Year, Donna Divine-Jones and William Jeffrey Jones (The Clay Cup-A Coffee Pottery & Northwood Arts & Event Center) will throw the switch to light up Big Spring Park.
