Neosho, MO — Counseling Associates of the Four States is expanding access to mental health services in Neosho with the addition of new providers, enhanced care coordination, and transportation support aimed at reducing barriers to care for area residents.
Two new mental health professionals are now accepting clients in the Neosho office:- Misty Hayes, who specializes in EMDR therapy, brings extensive court-related experience and offers animal-assisted therapy.
- Aaron Neet, a licensed counselor with several years of experience serving rural communities, specializes in co-occurring disorders and will split his time between the Neosho and Joplin offices.
In addition, Counseling Associates of the Four States will welcome a full-time case manager in January, further strengthening client support and care coordination.
To address transportation challenges related to medication management, transportation to Joplin for appointments with the organization’s Nurse Practitioner is now available for Neosho clients. This allows individuals to receive their ongoing therapy locally in Neosho while still accessing necessary medical services without transportation being a barrier.
“This expansion reflects our commitment to eliminating barriers to mental health care, especially in rural communities,” said Jacob Conklin, MS, NCC, LPC. “By increasing local provider availability, adding case management support, and offering transportation for medication management, we are making it easier for people in Neosho to access consistent, comprehensive care.”
Community members, organizations, and referral partners are encouraged to help share this information with anyone who may benefit. Counseling Associates of the Four States also welcomes opportunities to meet with community partners to discuss services and collaboration.
