Applications Open for Leadership Neosho Class of 2027

NEOSHO, Mo. — Applications are now open for the inaugural Leadership Neosho Class of 2027, a nine-month community leadership experience designed to develop informed, connected and engaged leaders who are invested in Neosho’s future.

Hosted by the Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce, the program will run from January through September 2027 and give participants a closer look at the people, organizations and issues shaping the community.

Through monthly sessions, behind-the-scenes tours, hands-on learning and conversations with local leaders, participants will explore topics including education and workforce development, healthcare and social services, local government, public safety, economic development, entrepreneurship and more.

A highlight of the program will be a two-day Leadership and Advocacy Experience in Jefferson City on April 13–14, giving participants the opportunity to connect with state leaders and gain firsthand perspective on the legislative process.

Leadership Neosho is designed for both emerging and established leaders who want to strengthen their leadership skills, expand their network and take a more active role in the community.

The class will be limited to approximately 12 participants. Tuition is $1,000 per participant and will be invoiced upon acceptance.
