    Position Summary

    The Part-time BCBA provides clinical oversight and supervision for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services delivered at Maddox Hill Center (MHC). This position supports the implementation of evidence-based behavioral programming, supervises Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensures program fidelity, and assists with Medicaid and insurance billing documentation.
    The Part-time BCBA may also provide supervision for candidates accruing fieldwork hours toward BCaBA or BCBA certification in accordance with BACB requirements. This is an hourly, part-time position with flexible scheduling based on program needs.
     

    Essential Job Duties

    Clinical Oversight

    • Provide oversight of behavioral and instructional programming to ensure interventions are evidence-based and implemented with fidelity.
    • Review and provide guidance on Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs.
    • Monitor student progress and make recommendations for program adjustments.

    Staff Supervision

    • Supervise RBTs and behavior staff to ensure high-quality implementation of ABA services.
    • Conduct regular supervision sessions in accordance with BACB requirements, including performance feedback and mentoring.
    • Support Training Coordinators and Program Coordinators in maintaining program standards.

    Fieldwork Supervision (Optional)

    • May provide supervision for candidates accruing BACB-approved fieldwork hours toward BCaBA or BCBA certification.

    Billing and Compliance Support

    • Assist in ensuring clinical documentation meets requirements for Medicaid, insurance, and BACB compliance.
    • Provide guidance to staff on documentation and service delivery standards for billable ABA services.
    • Collaboration and Consultation
    • Work closely with Program Coordinators, Clinical Coordinators, Special Education Teachers, and other staff to support program fidelity.
    • Participate in meetings regarding student progress, program development, and staff training.
    • Provide consultation for complex behavioral cases as needed.
     

    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
    • Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
    • Experience supervising RBTs and other behavioral staff in school-based or therapeutic settings.
     
    • Knowledge of ABA best practices, BACB ethical standards, and Medicaid/insurance billing requirements.
    • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to move throughout classrooms, offices, and training environments
    • Ability to stand, walk, and participate in meetings for extended periods
    • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
    • Ability to respond appropriately in environments where students may display challenging behaviors
     

    Work Environment

    • School-based and therapeutic educational environments
    • Collaboration with educators, behavior specialists, administrators, and families
    • May include visits to district partner sites and program locations
    • Occasional evening or extended hours for meetings, training, or program events
