OPEN TO EVERYONE AT NO COST
The purpose of this clinic is to screen for vision problems, malfunctions and malformations of the eyes. The clinic is free and open to everyone, regardless of age or income. Examinations will be conducted by resident ophthalmologists from Mason Eye Institute, University of Missouri at Columbia. Those who require further treatment or examination will be referred to a local eye care specialist. Persons who meet Prevention of Blindness eligibility requirements may receive assistance in paying for the cost of any recommended services.
Note: The doctors cannot write prescriptions for glasses.
