• Sponsors Needed for Upcoming The Tall Cop:High in Plain Sight

  • The Executive Board of the Newton County Community Coalition would like to reach out and ask for your support and help in obtaining sponsors for our upcoming event on August 30th.    The  Tall Cop: High in Plain Sight Training is being hosted by the coalition in cooperation with the Newton County Community Drug Free Grant.

With DFC Grant funding, we have been able to bring Jermaine Galloway (known as the Tall Cop) to present a training on current drug trends. He is a nationally recognized speaker and does amazing work.  The training is limited to 200 people. Most of those attending will be members of law enforcement, education, and mental health professionals in the community.   We have had a great response to the training and already have half of the seats filled.

With this in mind, we are needing local sponsors to help cover the cost of serving lunch to participants due to the training being an all day event.  The DFC grant will be covering the entire cost of the training, but is not allowed to cover the cost of food. We are planning to purchase box lunches from Chick fil A.  The boxes will include a sandwich, waffle chips, and a cookie and will be easy  to distribute to attendees.

There are two different levels of sponsorship:  Supporting ($250.00) and Major ($500.00).   The following explains what you will get with each level:

    $250 - Supporting Sponsor

    • 3 “shout outs” during the event
    • Organization logo on poster (with all other sponsors)
