Silhouette Imaging, located on the north side of the Neosho square will enter a new chapter with a change in ownership effective June 1, 2021.  After 18 years, Debbie Werneke has decided to turn her efforts back to her original profession as a Registered Nurse specializing in infusion therapies provided in the home.  “I am excited to see something I created from scratch grow in new and unique ways under the guidance of the new owners, Jim and Lynn Otey” commented Werneke.  “They have a plan to grow the business with new items and new ideas and continue the legacy of the shop, which makes me feel really happy.”  Jim has extensive experience in woodworking and craft designs, while Lynn has sewing and quilting experience that compliments the embroidery and apparel offerings of Silhouette Imaging.
Debbie, Lynn, and Jim have been talking for some time about the possible purchase of both the business and the historic building at 110 East Spring Street.  As Covid restrictions started to lift and the walk-in hours for Silhouette Imaging became more necessary again, it just seemed like the right time to make the deal happen.  “I sincerely hope the loyal customers I have worked with over the years will help Jim & Lynn Otey grow the business through their continued patronage,” says Werneke.  “I will be forever grateful for everything Neosho and my wonderful customers have allowed me to do for them since beginning in 2003.  My family and I will continue our commitment to this community for years to come.”
