    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Conduct self in accordance with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
    2. Greet guests and be able to provide information and assistance. Be of service to any guest or employee who request or require it.
    3. Ensure a safe environment for guests, employees, and vendors.
    4. Maintain relationship with fire, safety, and law enforcement departments.
    5. Responsible for patrolling and inspecting facility, both interior and exterior.
    6. Responsible for escorting casino and non-casino assets as needed. May also escort guests, employees, and vendors as needed.
    7. Complete incident reports in a clear and precise manner while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
    8. Report any activity or situation that may be deemed hazardous and/or suspicious.
    9. Protect the gaming facility’s assets, employees, and guests.
    10. Respond and assist to any emergency situation (fire, tornado, bomb threat, robbery or hazardous chemical spill). Ensure safety of all employees and guests during an emergency.
    11. Must display a professional and friendly attitude and take pride in the job being performed.
    12. Must be able to establish and maintain a productive working relationship with co-workers and management.
    13. Operate a motorized vehicle in a safe manner to transport customer and employees to/ from parking lots and casino. Service and fuel motorized vehicle as needed.
    14. Must complete all security training modules on a semi-annual basis, or as needed.
    15. Perform other related duties as assigned by a Lead, Supervisor or Director or Member of Management.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED

    EXPERIENCE: Police, military or prior security experience preferred. 1 year experience of guest service. Must be computer literate and have basic knowledge of MS Office. Must have a valid driver’s license.

    LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Be able to obtain and maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license. Valid Driver’s License. (Must be 21 years of age to apply). Must be able to attend all training provided to obtain occupational licensing or certification as required by gaming operations.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to sit, stand, walk for approximately 8 hours,, climb up and down stairs, and run to emergency calls. Repetitive wrist motion, dexterity, eye-hand coordination, writing, and typing on keyboard. Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.; frequently kneel, bend, and stoop. Visual acuity to accurately observe near and far distances, color, peripheral, depth, and adjust focus accordingly. Must be able to wear a radio earpiece without any limitations. Be able to perform CPR.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: We maintain an alcohol and drug-free workplace. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and perform in casino operations containing tobacco smoke and dust with high noise level and bright/flashing lights. Duties may be performed indoors or outdoors and may be exposed to various weather conditions. Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

    SPECIAL WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND FUNCTIONS: May be assigned to attend post in arena and/or bar venue. Must be able to handle elevated stress, high noise level, bright/flashing lights, and exposure to smoke, dust, livestock and/or large crowds. Have knowledge of and enforce laws, regulations, policies and procedures regarding the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Must be able to identify and evaluate intoxicated guests and determine if alcohol service should stop. Identify potential volatile situations in arena and/or bar venue. Must be able to deescalate volatile situations. Accurately report incidents and communicate with management and law enforcement.
