• Online Quality Coordinator

    The Online Quality Coordinator is responsible for providing all faculty members with resources to enhance the educational experience using online delivery systems. The Online Quality Coordinator collaborates closely with the Educational Technology Specialist on planning and training strategies for developing the college’s online delivery capabilities. The Coordinator is directly responsible for implementing the online training and evaluating system. The Online Quality Coordinator keeps current with the newest educational online trends and technological developments. The Online Quality Coordinator partners with division chairs and the student accessibility office to ensure accessibility compliance.  The Online Quality Coordinator works with the Assessment Committee to utilize learning management software resources for assessment.
     
    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher required in Educational/Instructional Technology, Curriculum & Instruction or other closely related area.
    • Experience teaching college students.
    • Experience in online teaching
    • Experience in online course development
    • Has at least basic knowledge and skill in use of current technology that enhances distance learning and teaching, such as video, audio, and presentation software.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to plan, organize, and implement responsibilities effectively.
    • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, other professionals, staff, and the public.
     
    Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    • Master’s degree in Educational/Instructional Technology, Curriculum & Instruction or other closely related area.
    • Previous higher education academic training experience.
