    IT Support Technician – Help Desk, Crowder College.  The Information Technology (IT) Support Technician – Help Desk position performs advanced troubleshooting for campus computers and peripherals primarily through telephone interaction. Position installs and modifies software applications to campus computer systems as well as provides technical assistance and training to system users. Position requires a detail oriented and organized person with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with students and staff in a professional manner.
     
    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • One (1) year related work experience
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks and remain calm during frequent interruptions.
    • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with other employees, students, and the public.
    • Valid Driver's License and the ability to meet insurance requirements for driving college provided vehicles.
    • Ability to handle confidential material judiciously.
    • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
    • Efficient in operating a personal computer in the Windows Environment and current Microsoft Software.               
     
    Preferred Knowledge Skills & Abilities
    • Associate’s degree
