• Family and Consumer Science Teacher

    The Neosho School District is searching for a certified FACS teacher for the 2021/2022 school year.  

    FCS courses to be taught will include courses within the Human Services Pathway such as Family & Individual Health, Career Development & Entrepreneurship, Housing & Interior Design, Human Development, and Nutrition & Wellness. 

    Program goals:

    • Prepare students to become responsible citizens and leaders in their family, community, and career.
    • Prepare students for the balancing of their career and personal lives.  
    • Use critical and creative thinking skills to address problems in diverse family, community, and work environments.
    • Promote the appreciation of human worth and accept responsibility and consequences of one’s own actions. 

    Co-sponsor the Neosho High School Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) chapter with the focus of gaining student membership and development of personal and organizational leadership skills.
