    College Transition Program Coordinator, Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math Science Programs, Crowder College, Neosho, Grant-funded position. The College Transition Program Coordinator (CTC) for UB and UBMS Programs monitors and works closely with the UB Director and Academic Coordinators to ensure that senior participants receive appropriate information about colleges, financial aid, scholarships, and admission requirements. The CTC assists graduates with college entry and tracks graduates until baccalaureate degree completion. The CTC also designs the summer Bridge Component, designs and implements senior Saturday Closer- to- College (C2C) workshops, organizes and schedules college/university visits. Hours vary to accommodate weekend, evening, and summer project activities. The CTC is directly supervised by the Director for Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math Science.
    Position knowledge and critical skill/experience:

    1. Bachelor’s degree required in education, counseling, or closely related field. Master’s degree preferred.
    2. Two years (2) of experience with project management, program development or related experience.
    3. Experience working with high school students and disadvantaged populations.
    4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    5. Ability to plan, organize, and implement responsibilities effectively.
    6. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, other professionals, staff, and the public.
    Annual salary range $38,343 - $52,867, commensurate with education and experience, plus excellent fringe benefits which include PSRS retirement, health and life insurance, and tuition waivers for dependents.
