• Real Estate Appraisal Processor

    Responsible for ordering appraisals through established systems and procedures. Communicates real estate values to loan officers, lending staff, and other supporting departments.



    • Provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers.
    • Order, review, and analyze real estate appraisal reports.
    • Prepare written appraisal reviews and evaluation reports.
    • Maintains appraiser and lender logs and prepares various monthly reports.
    • Perform progress inspections on construction projects.
    • Review appraisals and prepare in house evaluations.
    • Represents SMB at various community events.


    • Excellent customer service skills and follow through skills.
    • Strong, Professional oral and written communication skills.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word.
    • Highly detailed, organized, self-motivated, ability to prioritize to meet required deadlines.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Flexible Scheduling/Some travel (local) required.
    • Present a neat, clean, professional appearance, and positive attitude at all times.


    This position is largely sedentary; however, it does require some degree of bending, standing and twisting. The use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers and fax machines is also required. The ability to read and enter information onto a computer screen and to assist customers over the phone is required.

    High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic understanding of real estate appraisals or experience in related position is preferred.
