    SUMMARY
    Maintain the integrity of the loan accounting application and loan file documents.  This position will be responsible for the production of loan documents and ensure the documentation platform is accurately rendering loan documents.  Maintain expertise in all aspects of loan documentation and the documentation platform. 
     
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
     
    Perform full range of duties pertaining to the loan processing function, including, but not limited to the following:  prepare closing documents for new and refinanced loans and set-up loans on the platform system.  Ensures the completeness of all file documentation necessary to complete a loan file.
     
    Work with bank lending personnel, realtors and/or title company representatives to coordinate necessary documentation for loan closings.
     
    Review loan documentation to ensure it is complete and the proper signatures have been obtained and regulatory compliance requirements have been met.
     
    Serve as the backup System Administrator for the Loan Platform System.  Ensure users, roles, products, required information and documents are properly set up in the system.  Review service bulletins regarding changes and updates, tests updates and releases on test bank.   Manage resolution of problems with loan documents and the platform system by being the primary interface with the core processor. 
     
    Work with Compliance Department to remain current with State and Federal regulations and procedures.
     
    Comply with all banking regulations, policies and procedures.
     
    Confidentiality is required in all phases of employment.
     
    NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
     
    Provide backup to other positions in the loan operations department. 
     
    Maintain knowledge of loan system, loan products, documentation and regulations through attendance at job related seminars, conferences and workshops.
     
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    This job has no supervisory responsibilities. 
     
    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    Possess a two-year Associates degree from an accredited university or college with the major area of study in business administration or other closely related field or other banking or residential real estate experience plus additional bank related training.
     
    Possess a minimum of three years of loan processing related work experience including residential real estate loan processing involving the preparation of all TRID disclosures.
     
    Have a good understanding of lending policies and procedures, compliance policies and procedures, and banking regulations.  Have a strong knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC as well as real estate liens.
     
    LANGUAGE SKILLS
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.  Ability to read, analyze and interpret compliance policies and procedures and loan policies and procedures.  Ability to comprehend complex and varied documentation contained in loan files.
     
    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
     
    REASONING ABILITY
    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
     
    OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    Must have the ability to operate the following equipment:  telephone, 10-key calculator, typewriter, personal computer and printer, copy machine, shredder, step stool and/or ladder, multi-drawer file cabinet, fax machine. Must have working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and database management software programs. Advanced PC knowledge.

    Has frequent contact with all departments and title companies. 
     
    Has moderate contact with customer.
     
    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
    Valid driver’s license.
     
    Notary designation.
     
    Ability to be bonded by Bank’s surety company.
