Throughout the Fall and Spring Semesters (FA24 and SP25) the Crowder College Social Science Division has been hosting a series of events for the History Symposium. The upcoming live Bluegrass concert will wrap up this round of History Symposium events. The Bluegrass Concert will take place on May 1 at 6pm inside the college’s Wright Conference Center, which is located inside the Arnold Farber building (main entrance) - at 601 Laclede Ave., Neosho, MO. The concert will feature the bands “Spillwater Drive” and “The Flatlander Mountain Boys.” “Spillwater Drive” is the 2022 Arkansas Country Music Bluegrass Artist of the Year Award Recipient and is based out of the SWMO and NWAR region. “The Flatlander Mountain Boys” is a Missouri and Ozarks-based youth Bluegrass band. This event is completely free and open to the public to come and enjoy the musical products of our area’s own history!
