DESCRIPTION:Challenge: Break World Record for Most People Lying in Hammocks \n\nRecord to beat: 269\n\nThat's a lot of hammocks. \n\nBYO hammock to set up\, or use one available onsite.\n\nLiveGnar (livegnar.com) is an outside-going local hammock-selling outdoor gear company\, and Mintahama's event partner\, that will help to supply this world record breaking event.  Gnar produced a limited run Mintahama 75th Anniversary hammock to commemorate our opening back in 1946\, which we will have these for preorder online at 75th Anniversary Hammock and at the event.\n\nHammock set up will begin at Wihi campsite and branch out to fill the forest at Mintahama.  You\, should you accept this challenge of lying in a hammock\, will walk from the parking area\, down the road past the scenic lake vista\, and up the hill to the campsite. Wear shoes.\n\nParticipants will hold up their hammock number to the camera as our video proves to the world that we can have more people lying in hammocks at one time than has ever been achieved before. So be ready to lie back and smash records.\n\nHow much?\n\nNo charge for entry or to hang in a hammock\, so sign up and bring a friend.\n\nMay 8th\, 2021. Noon.
