DESCRIPTION:The annual Joplin area Christmas Bird count will take place on Saturday\, December 17th. Those who wish to take part should meet at the Audubon Center carpool with experienced birders. We will return at noon for a potluck lunch provided by the chapter and begin compiling the species and number of birds seen on the count. Those who wish to continue counting after lunch may do so.
