DESCRIPTION:In celebration of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month\, Community Support Services of Missouri (CSS) will host a community performance featuring Cody Clark\, an autistic self-advocate and magician. Clark will present his inspiring show\, A Different Way of Thinking\, on Friday\, March 27\, 2026\, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the CSS Hurn Center for Behavioral Services (2202 S Jackson Ave\, Joplin\, MO 64804).\n\n\n\nThrough a blend of magic\, humor\, and personal storytelling\, Clark shares his lived experience as an autistic individual while encouraging audiences to embrace acceptance\, inclusion\, and new perspectives. The event will conclude with a Q&A session\, giving attendees the opportunity to engage directly with Clark and learn more about his journey as a self-advocate.\n\n\n\nThe event is open to the community and appropriate for all ages. Tickets are $5 per person\, with children ages 5 and under admitted free.
