Leadership Neosho
Congratulations to the following Leadership Neosho 2013 participants! What a great class! Clean Air Conference
The Environmental Task Force of Jasper and Newton Counties will host a Clean Air Conference on Tuesday, January 15th from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. at the Cornell Auditorium, Robert W. Plaster Enterprise Center on the Missouri Southern State University Campus. Recent air quality monitoring values for ozone indicate levels that exceed the current EPA standards for our area. Continuing to exceed these air quality standards may result in mandatory requirements and could have regional implications that affect development, industry and residents. Coffee with Carver
George Washington Carver National Monument will host “Coffee with Carver” on Thursday, January 17th at 10:00 a.m. inside their visitor center. January’s conversation is the Usefulness of All Things. A park ranger will give a short talk showing examples of how George Washington Carver found value and beauty in common materials.
2nd Annual Bright Futures Neosho Bowling Tournament
Bright Futures Neosho will host their 2nd Annual Bowling Tournament on Friday, January 18th at 6:00 p.m. at Edgewood Bowl at 2811 Gardner Edgewood Dr. Teams of 4 are $120 ($30 per person). Limited to 12 teams so register early! Traveling trophy awarded to the winning team along with prizes for Team Spirit so be creative with your team attire and be prepared to have fun! Job Fest 2013

Sweet Arts Gala
The Neosho Arts Council will host their Sweet Arts Gala Dinner, Dance & Auction on Saturday, February 4th at 6:00 p.m. at The Civic. Tickets are $50 per person.
