“Eggs & Issues” Legislative Forum hosted by the Carthage – Friday, February 15th at 10:15 a.m. at the Grace Point Church at 1605 S. The Newton County Historical Society invites you to their Black History Program on Sunday, February 17th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Newton County Historical Park – Schoolhouse at 121 N. Washington.  The theme is “It’s A Celebration” with guest speaker Curtis Gregory from the George Washington Carver National Monument

 Informative Luncheon

 2013 Neosho Freeman Family YMCA Strong Kids Campaign Kick-Off Luncheon

 Pet Fair 2013

The City of Neosho will host their Annual Pet Fair on Saturday, March 2nd from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Lampo Community Center.  They will have information on local pet services as well as tag and vaccinate our pets.  Dr. Kent Findley will be offering discounted vaccinations, Faithful Friends Animal Advocates will be holding pet adoptions, and they will be tagging our four legged friends.  For more information, call 451-8050. 

 Neosho Sprint Triathlon

Neosho Sprint Triathlon to benefit Faithful Friends Animal Advocates, sponsored by Freeman Health System and Prime Care Family Medicine, Dr. Craig Pendergrass will be held on Saturday, March 30th at 8:00 a.m.  Swim 300 yards, Bike 13.5 miles, Run 3.1 miles.  For registration, go to https://www.earlysignup.com/neosho.  If you would like to volunteer, sponsor or have additional questions, please email ffaarace@cableone.net.
