Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce Committees

Agriculture – Sponsors events & programs to promote and enhance the area’s agricultural community.

Annual Banquet – Organizes and coordinates the Chamber’s annual banquet in November.

Downtown Events – Coordinates events on Neosho’s Historic Downtown Square.

Economic Development – Works to enhance the business climate for business and industry expansion and new development for Neosho and Newton County.

Education – Coordinates programs designed to increase the awareness and appreciation of the community’s educators.

Flower Box Promotion – Promotes efforts for the beautification of the community and by developing programs to market Neosho as the “Flower Box City”.

Membership Services & Development – Schedules and attends Chamber Welcomes & Ribbon Cuttings; addresses needs of general membership by providing free luncheon seminars, quarterly luncheons & First Friday Coffees and develops and maintains a system for recruiting new members.

Special Events – Promotes community spirit by coordinating and implementing various events for the area.

Tourism – Works in conjunction with the Missouri Division of Tourism to promote and enhance tourism in the area.
